Scott County Released Inmates is a private website, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, retrieve official records, change a record, or connect a caller with an incarcerated person. Contact the responsible agency directly.
Local Jail and Sheriff
Use the Law Enforcement Center for present local custody, to ask whether the final event was community release or transfer, and to request a sheriff booking or release record. The same central number serves the joint Sheriff, jail, police, and dispatch environment. The named jail contact’s hours apply to detailed jail inquiries; law enforcement and emergency service are available around the clock.

Kansas State Custody
Use KASPER for a person admitted to Kansas Department of Corrections custody or supervision. It is not a Scott County jail roster. Begin with the public record, then use KDOC’s official open-records channel for a focused request for existing public movement, release, or sentence-computation material.
Kansas VINE covers adult county-jail custody and notifications, not KDOC state prisons. Use VINELink for the county-jail layer and KASPER for state custody.
Open-Records Navigation
Pam McDaniel is Scott County’s Local Freedom Information Officer at 620-872-2420 and can assist with general county open-record navigation. Her listing appears within the Register of Deeds office. She is not identified as the Sheriff’s records custodian, and court requests must go to the court rather than the Sheriff.
